Numbers are relative catch weights, not percentages. Zero means unavailable in that habitat and season. A weight of 4 is twice a weight of 2 before temperature adjustments; the probability also depends on every other eligible fish in the same water.
Temperature
The seasonal weight is multiplied by max(0.1, 1 + affinity × coldness). Coldness is −1 in warm weather, 0 in temperate weather, 1 in cold, 2 in very cold and 3 in extreme cold. A seasonal zero stays zero. Overall fishing activity and stock recovery are separate effects.
